Hi, my name is Bailey!!!  I am a beautiful, healthy, 14 month old Golden Retriever.  I am light golden in color and am a petite girl weighing around 55lbs.  With a little bit more time, I will fill out a little bit more, gain a few more pounds, and develop a thicker coat.  Really, I am still just a puppy. 

I am in love with life, endlessly curious and just a happy girl.  Being a puppy still, I am a very high energy girl!  I have not met another person or dog I didn’t like!  Chasing, playing and wresting is just so much fun (a senior dog may not appreciate my energetic self!). Oh and oh my gosh, stuffed toys are just the BEST!!They are so fun to chew on and play with.  Speaking of chewing, favorite shoes should not be left out unmonitored, as my foster mom says I am still in a “chewing phase”.  Oh, and if you are a Master Gardener, I would love to help you with the outdoors.  I am super helpful.  Wait, my foster mom says that is not true.  I thought I was?  Well, I don’t dig, but I might try to bring in garden items inside the house.  Riding in the car is just so fun and I do well while my foster drives…I don’t try to help her or anything!

Walks are so cool and I am pretty good walking on a leash.  I am so excited about the walk, my foster mom says I pull a little too much.  I just love the sniffs and smells and all the new stuff to see outside of the back yard!  She also says I need to work on my manners and need some more basic training.  She and my foster sister have been helping me learn new things….I love treats so I’m eager to please for that treat! I am a very quick learner!

My family gave me up as I have too much energy than they had time for.  So, I am looking for a new family who is active, have the time to be patient with me, help me channel my energy through healthy diet, boundaries and exercise….and most of all love me and have time for me.  If you are interested in making me part of your family, please read all requirements and guidelines for adoption and If you want to meet me please apply at GRRH.org or if approved adopter contact your coordinator.
