Hi, I’m Jake! I’m an 8.5-year-old cream Golden Retriever, about 78 lbs, neutered, housebroken, and ready for my next big adventure – finding a family to love me forever. 

Here’s a little about me:

 Loving and cuddly – I adore pets and snuggles? I am all up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and healthy. Playful – I love toys and actually retrieve the ball (I may need help with the “drop it” part, but I promise your fingers will survive!) Social – I like other dogs and enjoy their company. I bark when the mail is delivered, yard guys show up, or walkers pass by… so yes, I double as a loyal alarm system.  Cats? Well, I haven’t met one yet, so the jury’s still out on that.

I’m just a sweet, happy boy looking for a "quieter" family who will cherish me and let me live my best life. Younger Active Family Members tend to make me Anxious....don't get me wrong -I've got that Golden Personality..... but my days of constant chaos and loud household noise are a thing of the past.
