Max

Description

Hello! My name is Max, and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m 13 months old and pretty mature for my age. My foster mom says I’m going to be a big boy; I’m already 67 pounds. I’m house broken and crate trained; in fact, I eat and sleep in my crate, but otherwise I have the run of the house with my foster brother. I love Kong treat balls, and that’s my bedtime treat. I don’t know all the basic commands, but I really want to please my person, so I’ve been working on them. I like riding in the car, chasing squirrels, and wrestling with my foster brother. I’ve met several people in the neighborhood, and they all think I’m a great dog!

If you would like to meet me and you’re an approved adopter, please let your coordinator know. If you haven’t applied to adopt, go to GRRH.org and prior to filling out an application, read the requirements to make sure you'll be considered.
I’d love to meet you!

Foster mom’s note: Max would do really well with another dog as he loves the interaction and needs frequent activity. He needs someone who is home and available most of the time; he is still a puppy and should not be crated for extended lengths of time. Max has a great disposition and loves to play with toys (but NO soft toys as he loves to chew them}. He would do well with children, but they should be 8 or older because of his size…he could accidentally knock them down. Max does need additional training, but he is eager to please and treats are a great incentive for him.
