Hey there! I’m Milo, an 8-month-old, 65lb Golden Retriever, and I’m on the hunt for my forever family! I’m neutered, up-to-date on my vaccinations, dog-friendly, potty trained, and crate trained. Honestly, what more could you want in a pup?

My foster mom says I’m the sweetest, most energetic boy. I sleep through the night, but when I wake up, it’s game on—I'm ready to play, run, and have a blast! After my morning run, I enjoy a hearty breakfast followed by a well-deserved nap. I love fetching toys, playing hard with my foster siblings, and keeping my mind engaged with enrichment activities. My evening includes another long walk and some dinner, and after one last romp around it's time for bed. I thrive on a good routine, as any good pup does!

I get along pretty well with my foster family’s smaller humans, but as a playful, energetic puppy, sometimes I can get a little too excited. I’ve been known to take their toys and nibble a little, so I’d do best in a home with older kids or no kids at all.

Here’s what my perfect forever home looks like:

•Older kids or no kids at all

•Family who has a work from home or hybrid work schedule

•Experienced dog owner who is committed to ongoing puppy training

•I’m okay being the only dog, or I’d be happy with a dog sibling who has a similar energy level and size

•An active family who will give me plenty of playtime, walks (approx 3 mi/day) and mental challenges to keep me happy and healthy
