Fostering is one of the most rewarding experiences of Rescue and essential to GRRH’s efforts. Since we do not have a physical location, the dogs we rescue are cared for in loving foster homes until we find them their Forever home. Without fosters, we are limited on how many dogs we can help. Fostering gives a rescued dog a chance to decompress, express his/her personality, work to overcome fears, and learn the “Do’s and Don’ts" of family life. As a foster, you will be asked to provide your foster dog with love, a safe environment, quality dog food, toys, and basic manners. GRRH will cover all medical costs associated with fostering, including heartworm preventive and spay/neuter. Don’t think you have the time or lifestyle to foster? GRRH has foster opportunities to fit ALL types of households and time commitments. Please consider fostering for GRRH. We recommend that you read our Foster Guidelines prior to submitting a Foster Application.
